MOLLY & REGINALD
Armed Forces 1939 Office Mess Bent Wood Arm Chairs
They met at the ‘Officers Mess’ in Kent and have been together ever since 1939. They were commissioned by George VI, they have the Royal Crown stamp of authenticity on the inside leg.
These chairs could tell a tale or two, throughout the 2nd World War years many an army personnel would have been so glad to put their feet up and have some refreshment.
They were very stylish in their day and this style never dates as you can see, made to last, Bentwood oak arms, coiled spring back and seat. Only the best designers and craftsmen were commissioned.
They have been lovingly refurbished & re-upholstered in striped Porter & Stone designer fabric with Rubelli contrasting fabric.
* Please note: colours of the fabrics may be lighter or darker than shown
